28th November to 2nd December

On Monday 28th November, we had Tom for Comms, in this lesson we finished our blog which we always do each week. Then we carried on with barriers of communication, which we talked about the physical and emotional barriers. Then I had Paul for programming, in this lesson we started on our new task, which was Task 6, this is called Coding Methods, and we learnt about the different methods of coding that can be used in VB. Then I had Maths at 2:15, in this lesson we just learnt about algebra.

On Tuesday 29th November, we had Waqas for Hardware, in this lesson we just carried on with our main assignment, which was task 6, this is because justifying why I have chosen the components for the office computer. Then after Waqas we had Spreadsheets, but in this lesson we did our Unit 1, which is Comms without the tutor, so we just catch up on work. Then we finish at 12:15 so we just went home.

On Wednesday 30th November, we had Paul for Programming, in this lesson we just catch up on work, this was because Paul didn't prep for the lesson so we just had to finish our games, and start on something new programming, as he said, to become a great programmer you need to set yourself challenges. Then we had a three free break, which I did some work in VB, then we had Tom for Business, in this lesson we learnt about the business structures, which was called Tall Structures and Small Structures. Then after that we carried on with the task we need to catch up on.

On Thursday 1st December, we had Tom for Networking, in this lesson we just carried on with our huge PowerPoint, in this we talked about all the different methods of electronic communication, which was basically  things like, Infrared, Bluetooth, Checksum, Data Elements etc. I got up to Checksum and still have to finish this off. Then we had Waqas for Website Design, in this lesson we just carried on with our practice website, in this we just had to see what we can do with Dreamweaver. Then we had Paul for Games Design, in this lesson we learnt about the GDD, which is the Game Design Document, this is where we basically tell the developers what the game is going to be and every detail about the game.
